QA assistant

You have an eye for detail and a passion for quality. We are looking for a QA Assistant to strengthen our quality team. In this role, you will support the quality assurance process. Together with the QA Coordinator, you ensure that everything complies with current quality standards—whether it’s the products we package or the way we work. You independently identify deviations, discuss them with the QA Coordinator, and help adjust processes when necessary. Your contributions help ensure that everything runs smoothly.

As a QA Assistant, you will support the QA Coordinator with:
• Internal and external audits and achieving and maintaining certifications (e.g., IFS Food, SKAL, GLOBALG.A.P., and PlanetProof);
• Performing quality checks and sampling products and processes, and documenting the results;
• Conducting monthly inspection and control rounds in the production area;
• Keeping the quality manual up to date;
• Drafting and maintaining various reports and records;
• Filling out supplier declarations;
• Answering quality-related questions from customers.

You’re the person we’re looking for if you:
• Have at least 1 year of experience as a QA Assistant in the food industry;
• Have completed a relevant MBO-level education (preferred);
• Are available for at least 16 hours per week (workdays and times can be discussed);
• Possess strong communication skills;
• Have a good command of both Dutch and English (spoken and written);
• Have a proactive attitude;
• Are excited to work in the fresh produce (AGF) sector.
